By using TheraGBT, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Important: TheraGBT is an AI companion for support and reflection. It is NOT a replacement for professional mental health care, therapy, or medical advice. If you're experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact emergency services or a crisis helpline immediately.

What TheraGBT Is

TheraGBT is an AI-powered conversational companion designed to:

Provide a safe space for reflection and emotional processing
Offer support using therapeutic conversation techniques
Remember your story across conversations
Be available when you need someone to talk to

What TheraGBT Is NOT

Not a licensed therapist: TheraGBT cannot diagnose, treat, or provide medical advice
Not emergency services: In crisis situations, contact local emergency services or crisis hotlines
Not a replacement for professional care: We encourage seeking professional help when needed

Your Responsibilities

When using TheraGBT, you agree to:

Be at least 13 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
Not use the service for illegal purposes
Not attempt to harm, abuse, or exploit the service
Seek professional help for serious mental health concerns
Keep your account credentials secure

Content Guidelines

While we strive to be a judgment-free space, we cannot support:

Content that promotes harm to yourself or others
Illegal activities
Harassment or abuse
Attempts to manipulate or jailbreak the AI

Subscription and Billing

TheraGBT is a subscription-based service managed through the Apple App Store:

Free trial: 1 week free trial for new users
Subscription plans: Weekly or monthly billing options
Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Cancellation: You can cancel anytime through Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone
Payment: Charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase

Intellectual Property

TheraGBT and its content are protected by copyright and trademark laws
You retain ownership of the content you share
You grant us a license to use your content to provide and improve our service

Disclaimer of Warranties

TheraGBT is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

Uninterrupted or error-free service
That the AI responses will meet your specific needs
Any particular therapeutic outcome

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TheraGBT and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of TheraGBT after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Singapore.
